StarWomanplus- What is motivation to you? And how do you get motivated?

Elizabeth Stincelli- To me, motivation is the determination to reach my goals. I get motivated by reading books written by those who have already done the hard work, those who I can learn from, and those whose great ideas spark new ideas for me.

SW- Are you on a journey with destiny? What is the journey? What is your destiny?

ES-I am definitely on a journey with destiny; I think we all are. My journey evolves as I grow. It requires me to stretch beyond my comfort zone, to learn new things, and to have new experiences. My destiny is to ultimately become the best me I can be and, in turn, to help others become the best they can be.

SWP- Have doubt and faith affected your core/vision/mission/purpose? How?

ES-We are all susceptible to experiencing doubt and fear. My doubt and fear serve as a catalyst; motivating me to try harder. Truthfully, every time I achieve a goal or learn something new, I think I will finally have moved past the doubt and fear. It never happens. The doubt and fear are still there, serving as an incentive to keep trying. This is motivation I want to share. Doubt and fear do not have to act as obstacles, but can provide purpose and incentive to keep moving forward.

SWP- You have an abundant plan for your life, right? How do you want to get there?

ES- At the end of my life, I want to look back with satisfaction and be happy. That is the ultimate goal of living, isn’t it? I work on this plan daily by putting forth my best effort in everything I do; reviewing my accomplishments, no matter how small, at the end of each day; and being grateful for all I have and for the wonderful opportunities I have been given.

SWP- Is whatever you are involved with an effective tool for change?

ES-I believe that it is. My mission is to change people’s perspectives from that of reacting to their life and work, to taking an active role by becoming engaged in every area of their lives.

SWP- In what ways should women maximize the abilities in their vision?

ES- Your vision is what keeps your dreams alive. And, your dreams have an impact far beyond just you as the dreamer. Your dreams have the ability to change your families, your organizations, your community, and possibly even the world for the better. Never underestimate the influence of your vision.

SWP- When did you begin to embrace and become aware of your purpose/vision? What was your reaction?

ES- I think that, deep down, from a very young age, we all have the feeling that we are meant for something more; meant to make a difference. Then, many of us spend years trying to figure out what our true purpose is. It wasn’t until I was in my forties that I started to really wrap my head around what I was meant, and wanted to do. My first reaction was fear and confusion. How can I make a difference? Where do I start? Once I was able to break it down into small, manageable steps instead of being overwhelmed by the big picture, my fear and confusion turned into excitement and curiosity.

SWP- A woman’s mind and soul are important? How important?

ES- As women, we have so much to offer. We have minds and souls that view the world from a whole different perspective. When we dedicate the precious gift of our mind and soul to something, we are unstoppable.

SWP- How do you express the energies in your passion?

ES- I hope that I am able to express my energies through my writing and my dedication to sharing my thoughts and love for life with the world.

SWP- Who (is) are your mentor(s)? What have you learnt from them?

ES- I don’t have a formal mentor, but I have built a great network of people from all over the world. We offer mutual support to each other, bounce ideas off each other, and lift each other’s spirits when we are struggling. That is the great thing about living in this day and age; we are not limited by geographical location. We can build supportive, mentoring networks from around the globe.

SWP- Those times that seem as if nothing is working, how do you pull yourself through?

ES- I read and listen to positive messages. When I find a book, podcast, or recording that lifts me up, I keep it on close stand-by. These positive messages renew my hope and reignite the fire in my soul.

SWP- What ‘ tools have you fashioned’ to enhance your purpose/vision?

ES- Right now, I am relying on my writing and strengthening my network to enhance my purpose/vision. I am hoping to develop some workshops that can spread my message even further and have a greater impact on the lives of others.

SWP- Are you called or passionate?

ES- I have been blessed with many great opportunities to gain knowledge and I feel that I am called to share my knowledge with others. However, I think that when we find our calling, we find our true passion. These two things work hand-in-hand to drive us toward our destiny.

SWP- Any last words for women/girls out there standing by and for their dreams?

ES- You ARE here for a purpose. Never let anyone limit or stand in the way of your dreams. It can be a long road of many small steps, but, by no means lose hope. Put forth your best effort, share your passion, and in the end you will be able to look back on your life, hold your head high, and know that you did it!
